Halloween in Naples Florida 2017
Halloween in Naples Florida 2017 was at its best last night. Families were out babies, small children, pets and mommies an daddies. If you thought Naples was strictly for retired old folks, think again. There were plenty of active adults having a ball and dressed up for the occasion. Naples famous 5th avenue was blocked off and the parade was not to be missed. Fifth Avenue is the venue for other popular holiday celebrations. Such as Christmas, St. Patrick’s Day, the 4th of July and the Susan G. Koman parade which raises money for cancer awareness.
Naples special events are so much looked forward to by seasonal as well as full time Naples residents. All of the fine restaurants and shops are open and giving out candy and goodies to the young old. Though the martin’s are free.
Then again happy hour prices are generally in step ’till 6:30 or 7 depending. Costumes like the children pictured included disney characters, animals not to mention Elvis himself.
Educational Opportunities in Southwest Florida
Naples is home to over 20,000 residents. Weather is a big draw and real estate taxes are a favorable. Collier County is home to have an excellent education system. Florida Southwestern University and Florida Gulf Coast University offer excellent curriculums for students post high school as well. The Collier County Public Schools web site is a good resource if you are considering moving your family to Naples.
If you are considering moving to Naples, feel free to contact me. My husband and I have loved the Naples lifestyle since 2004. We are originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. We love Cincinnati also but don’t miss those cold wintery months.
